You worked so hard to get Obama elected! Now it's time to kick back and enjoy the inauguration on Jan. 20.
Two Bay Village volunteers are hosting daytime inauguration watch parties in their homes (snacks requested), and everyone is invited to party at the Ironwood (just over the train tracks in Westlake),in the evening ($10 donation plus cash bar).
Rocky River also has a daytime watch event and two evening possibilities (See attached).
RSVPs to westshore4change@gmail.com or on MyBarackObama,.com are requested, so we can make sure our hosts have enough space and coffee.

Obama has requested that we adopt a service project as part of our celebration. Bay Village is working with Obama teams in Westlake, Rocky River, and Lakewood to collect items or checks payable to any of the three charities: Cleveland Food Bank (toiletries), Cleveland Tenants Organization (office supplies), and local animal shelters (dog food, animal toys, bedding material), Collection boxes will be available at each of the events, or e-mail westshore4change@gmail.com or call 216-798-7868 to make arrangements to drop off.

County Treasurer Jim Rokakis will speak to Westside Democrats Meetup (a group with members from Bay, Westlake, Rocky River, and more towns) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2008 at the Church of the Redeemer, 23500 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, The group hears short speeches and participates actively in asking follow up questions. Everyone is welcome!
